In Trinidad and Tobago, it is Labour Day, which to any other North American is absolutely weird as it's on a Friday. Granted that unlike their American and Canadian friends, Labour Day is fixed on a date (June 19).
There was some parade down south of San Fernando that blocked the local traffic. My cousin that drove us around got pulled as he overtook him just before
coming off the junction. The policeman didn't like saying that we cut him up. But he was riding his motorbike slowly. There were words exchanged and he rode off. If it were the UK, the policeman would probably try to charge him for dissent.
Also passed a hotel with cool name, the 'Do Drop Inn'.
SWAT stands for Special Weapons And Tactics.
When someone was singing the line from Valerie, "Why don't you come over...", I sang back, "Why don't you come over to my place. Hey you we're having a wimpy." Strange how I remember an old advert.
