Monty Python must be creeping up the leader board off the back of just one song. Because I'm sure that's at least the 3rd time Always Look On the Bright Side of Life has featured in the last couple of months. It was in the whistling mixtape, and one other that I can't immediately recall - think it was the hidden track.
Has any song featured more than 3 times? Maybe Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill which is another that seems to appear a lot!
Unofficially, Grandmaster Flash's "White Lines" became the first song to be on a mixtape 4 times. BUT Nick Bright's mixtapes are not counted for now. Simply because, most of his mixtapes in the past have not been published on twitter (same comments apply to Qasa Alom who has hosted two mixtapes)
When I say "official", I mean on Colin mixtapes only. Other hosted mixtape don't count for now until I can get access and listen to older shows to get those lists (I know which dates to look for)
Correct about Monty Python's "Always look on the bright side of life" appearing three times. As mentioned, officially it's still two (i.e. on Colin Murray mixtapes)
"Running up that hill" has appeared twice officially.
