Shakhtar Donetsk won the UEFA Cup after extra time. With Sunday being the last game of the Premiership season, much has been said about Manchester United who are alledgedly going to put out a 'weakened' side to play Hull. Hull are in the relegation zone as Newcastle and Sunderland. However, I think it's a much ado about nothing. Manchester United have strength and depth and quite easily handle Hull. Let's not forget they (2nd/youth team) drew with Everton in the FA Cup. Furthermore Newcastle and Sunderland's opponents, Aston Villa and Chelsea have nothing to play for.
The expenses issue with politician has gone too far. To me, it's stealing public money. If average joe like me did that we'd probably go to jail for it for fraud/theft. Also I wonder if this 50p tax on high earners include MPs...
